Woods Canyon Lake is a beautiful pristine lake, situated high in the
mountains along the Mogollon Rim, Sitgreaves National Forest,
in the Apache Indian Reservation Lands. One can have lunch with variety
of elk, bear, chipmunks and birds. Visitors should practice
good manners, and not disturb the wildlife as they go about their ways.
Marshmallows are not good for bears!
The word Anasazi means "ancient". Deciphering petroglyphs takes an expert, however, the border type design across the upper portion of the rock, most likely signifies mountains. This rock may log the movement of the people from one point to another.

This most likely signifies the death of a Shaman...note the power line extending from the upper head. The double body is significant of the spirit rising from the earthly body.
There is nothing quite as spectacular as an Arizona sunrise or sunset.
Sunset in my back yard!
